Sign in to Apify once

Your client opens an Apify sign-in page the first time. Prefer a token? Add the header Authorization: Bearer <your Apify token> instead.

Ask in plain words

"Download these 40 PDFs and give me the text." "Which of these 200 domains expire this year?" The agent picks the tool and passes the inputs.

Good to know

Every call is a normal Apify Actor run. You can see each run, its cost and its output in your Apify Console.
Set a spending cap per call: agents can pass maxTotalChargeUsd, and Apify also has account-level usage limits.
Agents with no Apify account can buy a prepaid, capped token with x402 or MPP at agi.apify.com, as described on Apify's pricing page.
Results larger than the chat are kept in a dataset; the agent reads them in pages.

FAQ

Questions before you add it

Do I need an account with GPT Shop?

No. The tools run on Apify, so you need a free Apify account, created during the first sign-in. Billing, invoices and usage history are in Apify.

Why Apify and not your own server?

Apify runs each tool in its own container, handles sign-in and billing, and shows you every run with its log and cost. You are not handing a token to a small company you have not heard of.

What does a typical task cost?

Auditing 50 pages is $0.1505. Downloading 100 files is $0.2005. Converting 10 PDFs to Markdown is $0.031, plus OCR pages only if the PDF is scanned.

Where does my data go?

Inputs and results stay in your own Apify account storage under Apify's retention rules. We cannot see your inputs or results.

Can I use the tools without MCP?

Yes. Each tool is a public Apify Actor you can call from the Apify API, Make, n8n or Zapier. Each tool name in the pricing table links to its Apify page, with API examples.

Something broke. Who fixes it?

We do. Email chris@gptshopltd.com with the run link from your Apify Console, or open an issue on the tool's Apify page. We read both.
